![]() This is one of my absolute favorite recipes and is super easy and fast to whip up! It's nutrient dense containing organic cacoa which is considered a super food due to it's high antioxidant capacity and bio-availability as well as avocado, a nutrient powerhouse known for it's high content of potassium and mono-unsaturated fatty acids. I personally don't add sugar but if you'd like it on the sweeter side, you can a tablespoon of organic honey. I also like to add some more fiber to the mix by adding 1 tbsp of chia seeds, which in addition to containing mostly all fiber, are also a high quality source of protein and antioxidants.
Servings: 3 Ingredients 1 small avocado 1/2 banana 1/3 cup organic cocoa powder 1/3 cup almond milk 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp almond butter A pinch of salt 2 strawberries (can sub raspberries too) Instructions Blend everything except the strawberries (or raspberries) in a high speed blender (I use a Vitamix). Add strawberries (or raspberries) to the top as a garnish. Add more almond milk as desired if texture is too thick. Enjoy :)
